It’s autumn, the nights are drawing in and you have another half term quickly approaching that you are not sure how to fill. Don’t worry we have all been there! Despite the Halloween spirit (pun intended) that will be flying around, there’s only so much costume making and candy consumption you can tolerate before looking for something more engaging. So, if your kids love to get their smartphones out and snap away, why not join us on one of our half term group safaris to learn more about smartphone photography?
We are running a number of sessions over the week
London
On Monday 24th October we are running two smartphone safaris at the Southbank, London at 11:30am and 2:30pm.
This is a great chance to enjoy a day out on London’s Southbank alongside our 2-hour workshop. We will meet on the day at a pre-determined location that’s easy to find around the Southbank. We’ll then spend some time learning the basics of smartphone photography and how you can enhance your images using your phone’s camera settings. After this, we will take a walk around the local area seeing what interesting shots we can take. The session will finish at a local cafe, where we’ll learn to edit your images using the free Snapseed app.

St Albans
On Wednesday 26th October we are running an afternoon session with Hertfordshire Wildlife Trust in St Albans at 2pm.
The session will start off in the Wildlife Trust's garden. We will then take a stroll through Verulamium Park, learning how to take photographs of the plants, flowers, trees and landscape along the way. The 2-hour session will finish outside the Inn on the Park cafe, where we’ll will explain how to get the best from the free apps available to improve your images and have a chance to ask questions and socialise.
